
Pearl, a Silicon Valley start by ex-Apple engineers, is working on a Bluetooth back camera for your car that can see in 3D, and alert you to objects in your path. The device uses two high definition cameras embedded in license plate frame and is power by a solar cell. A powerful processor plugs into your cars diagnostic port and computes object distance. Video imagery is sent to your mobile phone. The whole system installs in minutes without the need of wires or a power source.
