Looking for 3D imaging for your mobile workforce? MobileDemand has announced the October release of the xTablet T8650 rugged 8-inch tablet with an integrated 3D camera.
The RealSense camera, provided by Intel, creates realistic 3D imagery as well as automatic near field measurements and overlays information into a live feed for applications such as volumetric measurements or scene captures.
Application software, currently in development, will acquire measurements, dimensions, and 3D data that can feed end-user applications.
The Tablet runs the Windows 10 Professional OS powered by an Intel Atom X5- Z8550 processor, and provides 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. It also includes a fingerprint reader, a 2D barcode reader, 4G LTE, and GPS.
